High up in the Carpathian Mountains of Transylvania, at 1,250 meters, lies our riding base – far away from noise and everyday life.
You get on your horse.
The path becomes narrow, the landscape opens wide.
The quiet snort of your horse, the smell of forest, the wide mountains.
And suddenly, everything else is gone.
For over 18 years, we have been riding here – on small paths that simply exist.
No tourism. No crowds.
Just nature.
You ride through Transylvania, across wide mountain meadows and through old forests.
Sometimes up to the peaks – with views over endless mountains.
Most of the time, you meet no one.
Maybe a shepherd with his animals.
Our horses live outside all year, in herds, in nature.
We work with them with care and experience – using trekking saddles and mostly gentle bitless bridles.
This is not just riding.
It is a journey.
You are outside all day.
You feel the rhythm. The silence. The space.
Some nights, you sleep outside under the stars.
Fire. Horses. Silence.
And sometimes – a special moment:
a brown bear appears. Calm. Powerful. Close.
You also meet local people.
Simple, warm, real.
At the end of the day, you sit, tired and relaxed, with good food in front of you.
And everything feels quiet.
