Welcome to Hipparion in Romania!

Your horses are also something to be very proud of, especially Feloiske(?) of course. There’s so much that we in Western Europe could learn, if only we would listen which I doubt, from how you keep your horses and what you expect from them.

What a fantastic holiday, I can’t say what I loved more. The horses, the place and the people were amazing. Everyday we did lovely rides and we had wonderful gallops in the snow. The landscape was enchanting with beautiful snowcovered trees and lovely trails. In the evening you can relax in the hot pot and enjoy absolutely delicious food. Remember to pack really warm clothes, or be ready to drink some Palinka if you need to warm up 🙂 ! Thank you to Csaba, Katrin, Barnabas and Brigitta for this stay, it will be a new-years to remember! The digital detox was a plus for me as their is rarely signal or electricity (but you can still charge your batteries if needed a couple of times during the stay !). Be ready to have an unforgettable experience, in a stunning place!

Als je van paardrijden en natuur houdt, dan is Hipparion hemel op aarde. Het Hipparion is gelegen in de Roemeense Karpaten waar je adembenemend mooie trektochten kunt maken. De paarden zijn fijn te rijden en worden goed verzorgd. Tel daarbij het lekkere eten en de gastvrijheid van Csaba en Katrin op en het feest is compleet. Een echte aanrader!

what a unique place! in the middle of the Carpathian Mountains far away from traffic, internet access and the noises of civilization you can breathe in the fresh air and enjoy the almost untouched nature. Katrin and Csaba make you feel at home immediately and try to make your stay unforgettable. you will heat your cosy room with wood heated stoves and lighten it with candlelight which makes it so romantic. If I were a horse I would like to live there, the place for the horses is huge and they are most friendly and fit, certainly thanks to the good treatment. You will stay with your horse during your whole stay and it will carry you up and down through hidden paths wherever your guide takes you.

It was one of the best weeks I've had with Hipparion Trails. Thanks to the group and Csaba for the patience they had with me on this equestrian trip. I recommend everyone to try for at least 3 days in Harghita. It was amazing. Many greetings and hugs.

I went with Hipparion on an amazing one-day trail through the beautiful Carpathian forest -what a great experience! Very nice and helpful team and friendly, surefooted horses! My partner, who did not want to go for a horse riding, was welcome to spend a relaxing day on the farm which is beautifully located in the mountains.
